I agree that most ENTs want to jump into UPPP. It took me three before I found one that felt my obstruction was the tongue and not the pallete. I had GA, HS, MMA and feel better. The MMA was last April but I won't get an official sleep study unitl it has been a year. My ENT and the facial surgeon both feel that there are still too many things changing to get an accurate appraisal of the situation until the one year mark, although the surgeon told me the xrays at 6 mo. show no physical reason for OSA.
