I don't know what his charge is but my surgeon wasn't in "Network" so the insurance wasn't going to pay hardley anything and the doctor could have balance billed me for any amount over what the insurance paid. I proved that no surgeons in network had ever done the MMA "as it relates to the medical treatment of sleep apnea" even though a high percentage had performed them for "mechanical abnormalities or for reconstruction due to acceident". The insurance negotiated a cost and paid the same as in network, to the tune of some $28k of which I paid $150. Try workinf with them.
