Thanks a lot for your input.

As mentioned in my previous post. I got good sleep the first week folloing my UPPP. I think that there are two reasons for that: when just after the surgery, the tissues are numb and couldn't move, which keeps the airway open. Over recovery, the tissue and muscle are able to relax again. The other reason could be some pain control medicine you take. If you have had ten days of sleep without apnea continuously, then your surgery is sucessful. Please let me know the final result.

I wonder how did you get the X-ray which precisely identified how much you need to forward your tongue. You had the X-ray when you were awake, right?

I live in Chicago area. If you do too, I don't know whether you could recommend your doctors to me.
