Repose + Hyoid combo for Tongue?

Posted by Charlotte NC on October 04, 2004 at 17:21:12:

I have had UPPP, Tonsillectomy, Deviated Septum, and Turbinate reduction. All of these procedures took me from 43 to 19 events per hour.

My doctor is now recommending Hyoid Advancement plus Repose Tongue Suspension as my next step. Has anyone had both of these procedures? I have done searches and have found lots of information individually on them, but did not see where anybody had the combo. While I know that everyone's experiences and outcomes will be unique, I'm curious to hear from anyone who has had both procedures and how the felt about their outcome. I'm particularly interested in knowing whether the suture and screw from the repose suspension are noticeable or annoying to you.
