I also monitored my temp for 2 weeks and found i averaged around 97.2. couldn't buy a mercury thermometer so used a digital. opted for the mma when i found base of tongue was only 5mm. i wish i had found out about this last year to give it a legitimate shot before surgery but insurance was running out and had to make a decision. standard TSH was 1.5 but we know those vary and are subjective. here's a couple of good links/grumpy
