rox- i had septo last year and don't remember too much drainage. had maxilla cut last thursday and nose plugged, bled and drained for 5 days. better now but still a little drainage, no more blood though. try using q-tips with hydrogen peroxide to clean out crud couple times a day.good luck/grumpy
ps- septoplasty has about 5% chance of helping apnea unless turbinates are addressed at same time. it's standard for turbinate to stay enlarged after surgery and should be addressed at same time.
