I will have the hyoid suspension in tandem with the tongue; my surgeon says it improves chances for success by about 30%. After the initial narcotic haze subsides, I will post my recovery experiences here. BTW, I had UPPP & septoplasty done last March by the same surgeon. Helped a little, but not enough (my "events" are now less severe, but there are still too many of them to allow unfragmented sleep).
