You can always specify just somno. It may take several sessions to shrink the turbinates to the point they help you breathe. As a "cure" for sleep apnea, don't bank on it helping unless they have done enough testing to show that the blockage is internal to the nose. I had a very badly deviated septum repaired several years ago but my ENT told me up front that there would be no improvement in the disturbances. After the nose was fixed, I had a camera shoved up my nose and clear into the throat. The blockage was determined to be entirely related to thick tongue extending about 15mm down the thoat further that "typical" and a very small throat opening. Palette surgery was ruled out and the mma was performed which reduced obstructive disturbances from 60 per hour to 4 in 8 hours.
