They want to move my teeth around a fair amount prior to the MMA. The idea is to create an over-jet so that my mandible can come forward that much more. I'm rather surprised that the ortho can be done in a year. (I've never had or even considered braces before -- especially to make my bite worse!.)

Dr. K. referred me to a Dr. W. for the orthodontics.

I'm glad you feel that it's worth it. I long for a day when I might be able to sleep without drugs, without a contraption strapped to my head.
