Ortho is mcu improved from days of yore. Anyway, if its a year of ortho, that only adds six months of wait time(it usually takes six months to get a surgery date). I also think its a little better for the surgery to have braces. Course, those few grand really hurt, don't they.

Anyone Dr. K recommends is fine, I am sure.

IT is glorious, btw...but I caution you, it takes a few months post op to really feel it.
