When I had mine done two years ago, my insurance wanted me to go in network. There were a bunch of surgeons who had performed this procedure for deformity, accident or other reason but none had done one as it "relates to the medical management for the underlying causes of obstructive sleep apnea". I use this as well as increased opportunity for quality of life and they change to an out of network surgeon who had performed a couple of hundered for sleep apnea. Covered like he was in network. Keep on them.
