I was diagnosed with sleep apnea about three years ago and given a CPAP for treatment. I am 26 years old and weigh around 175 pounds. I have stopped , after several attmempts, wearing the CPAP (not that I ever really made it through the night with it) and have not really recieved any treatment. Recently I had to get my wisdom teeth removed and the surgeon spoke to me briefly about the some of the other options available. I was wondering if there is a website where I could get a better understanding of these techniques (i heard him mention braces?) As a scientist I am interested in the physiological aspects or the treatments, however I am sad to say as a vain human I am also concerned with a change in voice, appearance and the what not. All that aside I have decided to do something about his so I dont waste more years walking around tired and cranky. Please help.
thanks
