Mike hit it right on the screws, as usual. It seems that those of us who don't or can't adapt to standard therapies gain a different insight into osa. I had the MMA done two years ago and the obstructive events are still essentially zero. The only problem I still have from the surgery is a lingering tight feeling inside my upper lip but...it was worth it.
