There's plenty that can be done between CPAP and a trach. I certainly understand your position though. I've mentioned a trach to 3 different docs and each one of them flinched like they such their hand in a dirty toilet. But none of them new much about button trachs where are very different from regular trachs because there is no tube and your airway is 'normal' while the trach is plugged.
I think the rules of this forum prevent people from telling you doctor's names so some try to get around that by abbreviating and other tricks.
