We'll, My posting got canned again for bad language (mentioning more than a couple of letters of a dr name), so I'll try again.

I've read most posts I can find from you and others about MMA. I guessing that Dr NP will propose MMA, or maybe MMA after some nasal work.
He did mention I need to stay in town 10 days, then return twice. Each trip will cost me about $1k including airfare, car, hotel. I'm in Texas.

About how long after the first workup could a surgery such as MMA be preformed? Is this a long wait like 6mo or more?? Hope not.

What about braces? Do they usually require them before MMA? And wouldn't that postpone the surgery for a long time?

I am so amazed at the quickness of respose from Dr NP. He will call back usually within an hour and call my house and everywhere else trying to get me. I know this is a big 'boat check' type surgery, but this is still very impressive for any busy Dr.

I'm young, otherwise healthy, and have endured 7 procedures in the last 2 years easily. I'm not interested in waiting till I'm 50+ to do this, especially since it is ruining my otherwise perfect life.
