Maybe you answered this in posts long ago, but was there a reason that you didn't try other surgeries, cpap, or MMA?

I can certainly understand needing to fix the problem, as only a sleep-deprived apnic can, but weren't there other options to try first?

Have you ever tried recently to sleep with the trach closed to see what happens?

Hope you don't mind the questions.
