I am happy to hear that you are getting the utmost care from your surgeon, and everything is working out to your satisfaction. With me, though, I guess he just wrote me off as a hopeless case. It's how he handled the situation though that left me quite unimpressed however. That is not to say anything about the rest of the personnel or the institution as a whole there, and I'm sure they live up to their reputation as a world class leader in research and patient care.

In any case, the lesson learned from my experience is that you may not have to go very far and spend too much more money to be treated by those reputed to be the best to get the treatment that is most suitable for you.
