Thanks Bill.

I wonder though, where you would look up all the stats and numbers you talk about here. Are they available to public view over the Internet?

Anyways, I get what you mean about guys being too old. The only two sleep specialist ENT's around here that I am aware of are both old men, either in their 60's or late 50's, and both have given up on me and dropped me as a patient. Though the RF on the tongue treatment isn't available here, even if it and other new and advanced treatments became available, I don't think I could place much confidence in these old dogs learning new tricks well enough for it.

Though the latest of the aforementioned two states on his web site that BOT RF will become available once its safety and efficacy have been elucidated, the word from his office the last time I contacted them was that "There is nothing more he can do to help me." I found this quite shocking and surprising, since I thought he of all people would care to follow my case with close interest. I don't know why. Maybe either he doesn't approve of this renegade approach I am taking, due to the lack of effective help I was able to get around here, or he doesn't like being outdone by and playing second fiddle to another physician, especially one who's like 20 years younger than he is, yet has accomplished a lot more and earned a lot more accolades, and probably makes more money than he does.

In the words of my primary care physician, "To hell with Dr. ..." :-D
