No you don't feel it. I was also worried about it bugging me, but nothing. I could feel the wound on the back of the tongue for a couple of weeks after the surgery. No biggy.

Sadly, my tongue suture had no effect. I had high hopes for it. Don't think I've heard of anyone saying it did much on these forums. Might wanna ask.

Recently, a Dr told me that the suture material will eventually break.

Of course, your mileage may vary, and probably will,
