I am getting two lower teeth removed and then braces for about a year. I'm getting the braces at the end of September. The doctor is trying the maximize the horizontal space between my upper and lower teeth. This will allow him to move my lower jaw more forward. Hope that makes sense.

He said if I really want to do the MMA asap he could do it but sugested the braces for the above reason and also because he thought it would minimize the change in my appearance after surgery.
