I'll attempt my reply again in this forum..

I have recently had this operation to assist with my compliance using my APAP. My deviated septum and other "blockages" made it impossible to use my masks (Activa, Swift)without the aid of Otrivin type sprays, the long term use of which was causing it's own problems - it is not meant to be used for a period of more than 3 days, I had clocked up over a year.

I went back to work on day 8, with the biggest issue being the extreme tiredness from not being able to use the APAP until day 14. Other than that I'm still pretty much blocked up now at day 11, but the pain which was manageable throughout is all but gone.

Hope this helps.
