the fiber optic scoping is quite a simple procedure. The nurse will spray some mild anesthetic in your nose and wait about 20 minutes. Then the Doc with snake the scope through your nose and down your airway, taking photos all the way. You are seated in the Doctors chair the whole time. I might compare the procedure with having my teeth cleaned. There's no need for any recovery. I drove home immediately after.
