Welcome back to the forum. Good to hear the operation went well.

I had the catheter in for less than a day post-op. I had immediate urine flow after waking up in ICU. In fact I told the nurse I had to urinate, and she said - don't worry, you have a catheter in. I guess I was lucky.

I had weird dreams right away, but not particularly disturbing - although I do remember waking up early one morning with my heart pounding after a startling dream.

My nasal system was intensely congested for months, so I had reduced smell sensitivity. I would gladly have traded the stuffiness and congestion and constant drainage for some oversensitivity! I take it that you are NOT experiencing congestion?

I would echo westernjoe in the reccomendation to take it one day at a time. The time will pass quicker that way. The body has it's own schedule. We have limited ability to modify it :-)
