I just had turbinate surgery a month ago and I had about 1/2 of my inferior turbs removed. I am still waiting for the improved breathing, but I think it takes time for the internal swelling to recede and open the airways. The surgery itself wasn't too bad as I was back doing normal activities after about two days.
