Apnea is the cause of most GERD ?

What about loss of tone at the G-E junction, increased production of acid that backs-up above this junction, hypo-motility in the esophagus and stomach...all that stuff ??

OSA, apnea, breathing difficulties, reactive airways, etc... are clearly related to GERD...but I think implicating apnea as a cause of most GERD (or vice-versa)is a strong statement.

By the way, I'm also trying to forward your blog to practitioners in Seattle in sleep medicine. It is realy very well done.
