MMA and UPPP

Thanks everyone for some really helpful information. I saw the oral maxillofacial doc last week and now an ENT this week. The ENT guy suggests doing a UPPP first and then doing the MMA surgery later, primarily as he doesn't think the MMA will resolve the snoring issue that accompanies the apnea. Any insight on this? I would prefer obviously to just do one surgery however if I do the MMA and I still snore my wife won't be very pleased nor would I. Thanks for your input.
