If you want to address apnea, MMA is a better bet.

If you want to address snoring, UPPP *might* be better. In my case, it was one or a combination of UPPP, tonsillectomy, and turbinate reduction that cured my snoring, but only temporarily reduced my apnea.

Snoring is not harmful to health like OSA. (It sure can harm relationships, though!)

If I had the choice, I'd treat the apnea. Snoring won't kill you, apnea can.
