Hi,

I'm now 11 weeks post-op MMA & GA at Stanford.

One of the items that helped me the most during recovery was a recipe book for people who had undergone jaw surgery. Google "zip-n-squeeze" and you will find the recipe book for sale.

As others have said, there is very little pain after the first couple of days, but make sure that you take your meds as scheduled.

Lot's of mindless things to do, such as movies and TV helped me. I didn't have the brain power to read.

Good luck and keep in touch.
