My ENT was the one who insisted I get a sleep test. After my CPAP failed, he was the one who got me to the MMA surgeons. ENTs are OK, but they need to be willing to hand you off to another specialty when they don't really have an answer. The sleep experts are the way to go and you shouldn't need to go to California. Most Americans get them done locally, once they get in the right pathway, ie sleep specialists.
