This sums up the situation for me. While there are enlightened (and humble) ENTs around, there are also many who look at problems through the lens of their own specialties. Lets face it, that is a human tendency, and we all do it to some extent - but it is NOT acceptable when your health is on the line.

The ENT who did my UPPP/tonsillectomy wasn't even aware of any other surgeries for OSA. Nice guy, good surgeon, but not what I would choose today.
