Badger dude...

Excellent description! Great recovery !

Two minor things that I thought of... first, vaseline or some moisturizer for your lips. They are numb (and some people still are tightly banded at this point) and you won't always feel cracks and cuts. Second, Benefiber...better and more soluable than Metamucil. For those still living life with a syringe or straw, it'll disolve better in solutions that will fit through those devices.

The uvula or clump in your throat is tissue swelling. That will resolve soon. Unfortunately, the uvula is in a dependent position, so excess fluid can "hang out" there (no pun intended) for awhile. I guess there is some advantage to having a UPPP prior to an MMA after all.

Wow, keep up the recovery. Walking my very active dogs would've killed me at one week post-op. You're doing very well.

Best Wishes,

Bill
