Thanks for the advice.

My surgeon sent in his request for the preauthorization to the insurence company yesterday so I may do some of this out of order. My sleep doctor did send me to an ENT who sent me to the surgeon who does MMA.

Regarding surgery, the surgeon strongly recommended the jaw surgery first. When I pressed he indicated that he felt a lot of my present nasel issues related to my tongue pressing on my soft pallet. He also said he does not think my upper jaw needs to move, just the lower. My lower jaw is really small and recessed. He is also going to move my chin out in addition to moving the jaw. So no upper airway involvement in MMA.

Thanks for the great post. I will take the next 2 months to hassle with the insurence and see what happens.
