Yes, the increased airway is great.

I knew there was a difference right away. It felt odd to have so much room at the back of my tongue.

When I saw the x-rays a week later, it had gone from 2mm to over 12mm. (My surgeon said that normal is 10-15mm.)

7 months later, I can't even remeber what it felt like to have a small airway behind my tongue.
