Is the "med school buddy" someone that graduated in his class at Harvard? I think I was actually referred to a Dr. D (three word last name). I'm not sure if that is the same guy; apparently he performs numerous surgeries here in Phoenix and is good.

Do you usually need braces beforehand? I have already had a set so I wasn't sure if this was a necessity and how doctors in Stanford would work with an orthodontist outside of their area.
