Most of us have significant tongue based obstruction. The palate accounts for a smaller percentage of obstruction. The MMA would help...but may or may not be indicated...and might only be indicated after other procedures were tried.

The bottom line is, you should have the best exam and opinions available to you...to give the detailed answers that you need.
