Posted by Thunder Bay on December 30, 2005 at 12:42:20:I just now located the directions to my Dental Device, I had lost em.
When i got this thing, a year ago, this dentist told me to clean it every day with a toothbrush and toothpaste. I said, "Are you sure I shouldnt use some kind of soap?" And he said, rather dimssively, "no, toothpaste is fine."
The second night I used it, I threw up violently the next morning and into the afternoon, and was so distubed by the experience that I didnt use it again til a couple of weeks ago, and then it was with trepidation
So anyway, in this instruction booklet, which i just found, it says to clean it with a toothbrush and a liquid antibacterial soap.
Man, am I p----- off. This dentist was one of those smarmy, fast-talking, relentless chipper people who didnt strike me as having much more depth than a turnip. Anyway, it turns out he also didnt know crap about how to clean the device I was paying $800 for -- and didnt even know what the directions said
Gee, what a surprise, yet another medical professional with that deadly combination of ignorance and arrogance
