I clean my TAP dental device each morning with a small drop of anti-bacterial hand soap and toothbrush. I brush my teeth before putting it in each night as well. Every couple of weeks, I soak it in Listerine(generic) for 1 hour. You can also soak it in a solution of half hydrogen peroxide and half water for about 15 minutes.

I've been doing this since March 2005 with no problems.
