I recall that westernjoe/roger used an appliance before MMA, and he saw some improvement.

I would agree that it is an expensive way to determine that which a surgeon ought to be able to forecast by analyzing your anatomy.

Finally, another downside is that I could see an insurance company denying coverage for MMA if you already have a device that is doing the job.
