somnoplasty: scar tissue and the longer term

I have a couple of questions for anyone who had somnoplasty a while ago:
1.) After healing is pretty much complete do you feel the scar tissue under the surface of your palate, tongue or back of the throat? . . . has it caused any problems?
2.) Has there been any tendency for the treated areas to grow larger again over time? Since cells are removed but no actual structures, could this be a problem? I know that the procedure hasn't been around that long, but just in case . . .
Thanks for any insights.
