Honestly my throat hurt so bad I never noticed ANY pain in my nose! Sorry :-( Also my pharmacist recommended coating meds in butter, but I found that if you took a big sip of water and then put the pill or pills in your mouth they went down very easy for me.....painful yes, but no choking. I guess the opening to my throat was so much bigger that they just went on down. I asked for pill form pain medication on day 4 and I have other meds I take daily as well and I had no problem doing so. Also it helped to really relax before I tried taking them.
