Patrick:
Dr.Riley has patients from around the world. He reads letters from all. He is conscietious (sp?). He changes dressings himself to insure that it is done correctly.
Please understand when I ask these questions I am trying to clarify the information for myself. How do you know that your apnea is not positional? (My usual question?) Even when I asked ahead of time, I was told that the sleep center (without naming the sleep center) monitored all sleep positions. This center monitored (watched and recorded the position) but they could not calculate RDI. Also, is your apnea worse in hot weather?
Shifting gears again. Dr. Riley will do an honest evaluation. If you can't trust him, I don't know who you can trust in the SF Bay area. You will be hard pushed to find a better man and can easily find a worse one.
Looking forward to tomorrow's post.
