Apnea/MMA surgery article on CNN.com - anyone?

Good morning - doing my morning online news reading, I came across the article below regarding the MMA, maxillomandibular advancement, surgery as a "cure" for apnea. When I was diagnosed and started CPAP a year ago, my sleep doc said this and other surgeries had low effectiveness and high impact (pain, recovery, etc). I've seen a lot of discussion here on the other surgeries but not much on this, and I'm wondering if anyone here has any more information. Thanks -

ps - because I haven't seen this discussed on either CPAP or non-CPAP forums, I'm going to post on both - hope that's not a no-no -
