i go to the doctor on tues to see about getting a change in size of trach tube need input. i have not capped in a few days now and even uncapped i alomst can't deal. so i called my doctor after reading all the post to see if a larger tube may help me. he said with a larger tube i may have an ever harder time capping. i don't care so much about that i just have to be able to breathe. is there anything i can do so that my trach could be covered but not capped. i'm not worried about ppl seeing my trach just my doctor and ever one stresses to me never go out with my trach open yet so many of you say you do. i just need all the information i can get and i thank you all so much for waht you have given me already.
