Millie:
Tommorrow will be 3 weeks since I had my surgery. I had septoplasty last Nov. and 3 weeks ago had uppp, tonsils and genioglossus advancement. I could have waited on the genioglossus but decided to get it all overwith at once. The worst recovery has been from the tonsils, so I am glad I did it this way. I didnt want to miss alot of work either. I feel great now. Day 5 and 6 were the worst for me. Tongue definitely feels limited now and lower teeth and jaw feel strange. I notice I can no longer use my tongue to get food caught between by cheek and gum. I don't know if that will come back or not. I am not snoring and I think I am getting more rest. You can read some real horror stories on here. My experience has been that it is now where near as bad as I had made it up to be in my mind. Good luck. I vote for getting it all done at once.
