hmmmm....interesting and strange. I wonder if your doc might have an explanation for this. (The GA might severe some nerves at the lower jaw area, but I wouldn't think this would affect the olfactory nerves in any way...Could it possibly be the MMA that actually caused this? I can understand the MMA maybe causing this since there's alot more severing of nerves in the maxillofacial area and since it involves the upper jaw area which gets close to the lower nasal chamber structure, etc.
