apneas without desaturation

I have beautiful tracings that clearly show 30 second mixed apneas. No airflows, no effort followed by paradoxical effort then regular breathing. Heart rate fluctuations of 20 bpm yet oxygen saturation stays between 96 to 98%.

This is a home study so no EEG traces.
Patient is NOT on oxygen.
Very symptomatic for OSA.
Hx of Parkinsons, frontal meningioma
Small frame BMI 24, 81 yo
No sx of narcolepsy, some for RLS and insomnia

We will try CPAP but are curious how anyone else would handle him?
