CPAP is the obvious way to go, since it the only first-line standard. I'd want to do another home study with CPAP.
Another thing I would look at is sleeping position. For many, the severity of OSA is highly positional.
Plus, since many of us MMA folks fit the profile, is there any jaw/tongue combo that would aggravate OSA (retrognathic jaw, narrow mandible, large tongue, obstruction in back of throat)?
O2 sats aren't always a clear indicator of anything, other than potential danger if they drop low. When I was first tested in 1999, I had fairly severe AHI, but my O2 sats were very high. My doctor theorized that I had adapted over years of apnea. He actually asked if I had been a competitive swimmer in high school/college (no). Regardless, the high O2 sats did not compensate for the constant awakenings.
