There are a number of parameters involved in reading sleep studies.

You need a new sleep medicine doctor...one that will perform your next sleep study...and sit down and discuss the results and implications at length with you!

You won't "breathe in through your nose and out of your mouth" . I suspect that your nasal airway is badly blocked...and that needs to be looked at and investigated. Perhaps that is why CPAP isn't working well for you!
