As far as reducing apnea, only if your apnea is primarily caused by upper airway issues. More and more evidence indicates that upper airway issues are a primary factor in a minority of people.

The process gives roughly the same result as a UPPP or similar procedure - removing or stiffening loose tissue that flaps and rattles around.

So, I am skeptical that this would truly reduce apnea itself for most people. My concern is that folks might eliminate their snoring and think they were apnea-free.
