Most insurance companies will pay for surgical treatment of sleep apnea; it just depends on what surgery they will pay for and how much.

It's good that you have been on CPAP for over a year because many insurance companies want to see that a patient has tried CPAP for over six months and it has "failed" or they are "non-compliant." Your doctor would provide this documentation or letter.

The only true way of finding out if insurance will pay is to make an appointment with a doctor and get a pre-authorization/pre-certiciation for surgery.

Some factors that will determine the outcome is what insurance you have and how good the coverage is. A PPO plan will be a little more lenient, versus an HMO.
